We named it Belle Rive after the fictional home in Tennessee William’s play, ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’. It translates literally as “Beautiful Riverbank” but Williams’ used it as ‘Belle Reve’ meaning “Beautiful Dream”. Both are true here.

  • Belle Rive has the Root River and North Bluff nearly in the backyard!
  • An upstairs deck with a grand view of the bluff and an old fashioned porch across the entire back of the house.
  • An open outdoor room we call the *jUkEjOiNt*.
  • Beyond it is a patio that overlooks the river.
